SHEEP!

Mom and I spent 3 hours herding on saturday-mom wasn't too happy with our training-she said I forgot everything I learned and reverted to barking at the sheep. We have a trial this weekend, I don't think mom is looking forward to it...but she said to me we're going to go and hav FUN no matter what! FUN...that's what it's all about! Have a great week friends. My mom is off to her silly job that takes her away from me and blogging. I'll try to visit via mom's blackberry!

You will remember to do the herding just like falling off a bicycle bol--that's what my mom says. The main thing is to have fun. I would think it'd be great fun to bark at sheep.

I just found your blog, Velcro... I own a cattle dog named Roxie!! She wants to herd sheep one day... but unfortunately, sheep are hard to find in Detroit. You are lucky!! Can't wait to read more!!

I'm sure you'll do great, Velcro but you're right: having fun is what it's all about! My human thinks that too - that's why she always tries things out with me even though she knows that I will probably be the slowest, dumbest dog doing the sport but hey - we're giving it a go and having fun doing it!
