How I spend my time at the Park....

Wordless Wednesday

Mom came home early today!!

Mom got up early this morning, 5am, so she and I could go on a run before work! Mom felt bad because she worked a VERY long day yesterday. My petsitter came in twice yesterday!!

So this morning, we ran 3 miles before mom left for work! She gave me a yummy Kong filled with food and left. But I always know I'll get park and play time with my petsitter-and I did!

The special treat was Mom walking in the door at 7:30...she was home early tonight! We just got back from a walk and are now spending time on the couch!!

Sheep Sheep Sheep Sheep Sheep Sheep Sheep

Sheep!!!! I got to go sheep herding today!!! Mom drove up to grandpa's house and we picked him up and continued our drive up to Phelan, CA to Trails End. Mom and I spent about an hour and a half herding. We practiced my outruns and fetch, my inside flanks and driving! Mom has decided that our next trial will be at the Australian Cattle Dog Trial in Escondido in April. We'll be attempting Intermediate for the first time!! At the end of our lesson today, we went into the big field to practice my outruns again. Mom and Steve are trying to get me wider...don't they know that that is difficult because I'm a cattle dog??? But Mom was THRILLED!! I had great outruns in the open field and got really wide!!! We had a wonderful time today!! Thanks Steve and Julie for a wonderful day of sheep!!

Mom has been very busy!!

Mom left me over the holiday weekend(that would be last weekend). She went to Alabama to tour a college or something human like that!! My grandpa stayed with all of us and took me for walks and ball throws in the park. When Mom got home on Monday the 16th it was late. The next day she took me to work with her at Panavision. It's kinda boring at Panavision but at least I'm with mom then the next day she started her job, glee. It will air on Fox in may after American Idol and then in the fall. So now she's super busy and I see my petsitter! She takes me to the park to play but I miss Mom. I'm hanging with Mom today!! She ran a triathlon race this morning that I couldn't participate in but now she's home with me!!! I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I think Mom is taking me to herd sheep tomorrow!!

Tuesday.....

SHEEP!!!

I saw my sheep today! Ok...they aren't exactly my sheep...but for the hour and a half I worked them-they were my sheep!!! Mom and I were working on driving today. We're trying to coordinate my walk-ups...our trainer, Steve, was very happy with our progress in our first day of driving! I left mom's side most of the time!

When we got home, that little black and white beast decided to snuggle with me! But I guess she's not too bad....she's soft and she plays with me!

it's been a rainy few days!

It's saturday and mom thinks the rain has stopped...but it's been a lazy day for us. Mom has had a busy week! But she's made time for me, like she always does!

We went on 3 runs this week and a walk...one of the runs was in the rain.

While mom was working, my petsitter took me to the park to play with my tennis ball. It rained while I was at the park-but I didn't mind because iw as chasing squirrels and my tennis ball.

I think I'm going sheep herding tomorrow! SHEEP!!! I can't wait!!

Mom has been busy....but feeling better!

Mom was off on Monday and I think she was tired of being a sick hostage in her own house so she took me to Ocean trails for a hike and beach time with my Tennis Ball. It was super fun!! I met lots of doggies who were also out with their mommies! Probably because it was such a pretty day! Mom took a tennis ball with us-but we didn't need it because I found one on the beach!!

Mom's been working the rest of the week, So my petsitter has been taking me to the park around lunchtime. I've had great tennis ball sessions and squirrel chases!! Mom has taken me for a run when she's gotten home, 3 mile runs last night and tonight.

I'm tired now...I think it's time for bed! I hope everyone has had a nice week. Mom says if she gets off work early tomorrow she's going to let me visit my friends!!

ok, I don't like when mom is sick-but I have gone to the park two days in a row to play with my Jolly Ball!!! Woo hoo! What wonderful mornings I've had. Today I met a new friend, Lucky. He was there with his mommy playing with his squeaky tennis ball! We sniffed a bit and then we both went back to our respective balls!!! I didn't chase his and he didn't chase mine! It was a really nice morning.

When I came home, mom gave me my breakfast-yummy chicken!! And now I'm going to keep mom company all day and hope that she gets better! We'll be watching the Super Bowl later. We don't have a team that's playing in the game this year....we just hope for a good game!! And great commercials!
