Happy New Year!

Today was my last day in Nashville. mom loaded the car today and we got a long run in tonight, 5 miles. Tomorrow, we start our 3 day drive back to Los Angeles from nashville. mom says she doesn't know what route we might take, since there is a winter snow advisory for the Oklahoma/texas area. So we might go the southern route thru Dallas. That would be my first time in dallas!

Mom and I hope all of our human and doggie friends have a safe and wonderful New Year! we'll be on the road, so please pardon us if we don't visit you until saturday!

Happy New Year and mom wants to chime in GO VOLS something about an important college football game that is on tomorrow night.... I guess I'm a TENNESSEE fan as well since I am an orange color and have a TENNESSEE harness!! GO VOLS!

Tuesday......

It's cold here in Nashville!!!! But that hasn't stopped me! I've been running with mom and hanging in the back yard! yep, my granny and grandpa have a back yard, unlike my house in California. There are tons of friends out there that I go see every morning and as often as I can! I didn't know Mr Squirrel and his family would follow me to tennessee for a vacation as well! that is so nice of Mr Squirrel!

I want to wish a Happy Barkday to a fellow cattle dog, Josie! Josie doesn't have a blog but she visits mine regularly! And I wanted to wish her a Happy Barkday-she's 10 years old today! I sure do hope you get lots of yummy treats today!

woo hoo!! Us Cattle Dogs are a pretty special bunch! We: Norwood, Stumpy, Ruger and Neve, Charlie Daniels, The Three Happy Heelers: Gus, Louie and Callie,Wyatt Twirp and ME have put together a calendar! Ok...it wasn't my idea, mom and i just submitted pictures. Stumpy's mom had the idea and Norwood's mom put the calendar together....but we, as a Cattle Dog group, have a wonderful calendar that is now for sale! The calendar is on sale at Lulu.

The proceeds of the sale of this calendar go to new Hope cattle Dog rescue in Arizona. We think this is a wonderful way to help dogs that don't have their forever home quite yet! So if you'd like to help some doggies-buy our calendar! They make great gifts too!!!

Wordless Wednesday

Sunrise on Day #2

Day 2 started off COLD in Holbrook Arizona! We drove and drove and drove. Mom filled up with diesel and I'd get to leave pee mail. I spent most of the day in the front seat sleeping! And sometimes sleeping with one of the cats. Both Blossom and 3 Perf decided they wanted to sleep next to me!!

When we drove into Oklahoma, in the dark, my day was made! We stopped at the Visitors center on I-40 heading east. They have a dog park there!!! We stopped here last year and I got to play, so when we pulled in tonight, in the dark, I knew exactly where I was! I headed to the large dog area with mom in tow carrying my Jolly ball and proceeded to play until I was tired! It's my favorite stop! I like Oklahoma because they have dog parks at their Visitors centers!

We are getting ready for bed now. We nearly made it to Oklahoma City-we're just west of the city. Tomorrow we should make it to Nashville where my gramps and gradma will be waiting for ME!

Day one of our trip

We've stopped for the night!! Yippee! We have a nice room and something called Route 66! All I know is that it's colder here in Arizona and I'm hungry! Mom and I are out so that I can leave a billion pee mails and a poop, then. It's off to bed! Another long day of travelling tomorrow (that means sleeping for me!)

Christmas came early today-and it was from Norwood!!!

I got a gift! I got a gift!!! Yuppers! I have a doggie friend in M-A-S-S.....oops can't spell the rest of it...but his name is Norwood!!! And I think he's the bestest doggie pal ever! Norwood and his mom sent us (all of us, the kitties included) a Christmas gift! Mommy and I were so touched! Thank you D and Norwood!!! Your kindness is so wonderful!! You are true friends!

Workout wednesday

My morning was spent chasing my tennis ball and helping mom with numerous errands! Then tonight I spent time at my favorite park chasing my jolly ball! I did not see any squirrels at the park because it was dark....so Mr Squirrel, maybe we will meet again tomorrow!

A rainy Monday

Rain, wind, cold...that is what we have in Los Angeles right now. Mom loves it. I'm ok with it-unless we are driving! All that water splashing up from the puddles in the road-nope I don't like that!

Mom and I went on a 5.2 mile run tonight! It was super windy! But we had fun! I got to leave lots of pee mails and met a few doggies that were out with their mommies! It seems the only people who were out tonight were doggies and their moms!

Maybe tomorrow we can run in the rain so that I come home smelling of wet dog!!!

Friday work with Mom

I spent the entire day at Panavision with Mom! I take my tennis ball and a stuffie with me when I go to Panavision! Lots of people throw the ball to me! Slip sliding down the slippery floors!

My Favorite Park

These are pictures from my favorite park! Mom and I walked up to the park on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It was a beautiful day! I got to play with my tennis ball and I watched lots of squirrels! Silly mom had forgotten to download these pictures until now!

Tonight we went to Hermosa Beach for a sunset run! It's a concrete jungle-not alot of green stuff to leave pee mail! But I did get to meet lots of doggies! Mom had forgotten just how many dogs are in the beach cities!
